What a great performance by Ben Sheets on Monday night as he tossed a complete game and the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Atlanta Braves 4-1.  The Brewers are playing some very good baseball right now, and they kept that up as they kicked off the three game series with the Braves with a nice victory.

Sheets improved to 9-1 on the season as he picked up the win.  Hopefully the Brewers can stay in contention so we don’t have to hear about all these Ben Sheets trade rumors.  I’m sure all the Brewers fans are already tired of hearing abou those rumors.

At the plate it was Mike Cameron getting the Brew Crew on the board with two runs in the second inning.  Cameron hit a two run home run to put the Brewers up 2-0.  The next two Brewers runs came in the third inning when J.J. Hardy doubled and Rickie Weeks scored.  Hardy then scored on a Ryan Braun double.  That was all the scoring that was needed as Sheets was on fire on the mound.

Tuesday the Brewers will look to go up 2-0 in the series as Dave Bush will take the mound.
