The Milwaukee Brewers were shutout by the Florida Marlins by the score of 3-0 on Tuesday night.  As if getting shutout wasn’t bad enough, the Brewers only had two hits in the entire game as Scott Olsen pitched a complete game one hitter.

Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder had the two hits for the Brewers.  Too bad that one hit was a grand slam for Brewers fans…

Jeff Suppan pitched five innings but gave up eight hits and three runs to take the loss.

It was just a bad game all around for the Brewers who are now 16-16 on the season.

The Milwaukee Brewers have designated struggling relief pitcher Derrick Turnbow for assignment. Turnbow, an All-Star closer in 2006, is 0-1 with a 15.63 ERA in eight games this season. He gave up six runs in two-thirds of an inning at Chicago Wednesday.

To take Turnbow’s place, Milwaukee recalled outfielder Joe Dillon from Triple-A Nashville.  So what do you think of this move by the Brewers?

Well that was a hell of a comeback for the Milwaukee Brewers in Chicago on Thursday afternoon.  Ryan Bruan hit a two run double in the ninth inning to provide the tieing and game winning runs for the Brewers.  A hit batter, two doubles, and a infield single provided the three runs in the ninth inning for the Brewers.

Braun finished the game with three RBI.  Jason Kendall had one RBI as well.  Really the Brewers sucked it up and coudln’t get much going against Carlos Zambrano in the game.  They were lucky that Wood pitched so poorly.

Brian Shouse picked up the win the Eric Gagne picked up thee save.  Gagne has been throwing the ball a little better lately, hopefully he got all the kinks out and will be lights out from here on out.
