The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Chicago Cubs 10-7 on Tuesday night as both offenses put quite a few runs on the scoreboard.  Mike Cameron made his debut of 2008 and had a two RBI for the Brewers as he got off to a fast start.

Cameron along with Prince Fielder and Bill Hall all had two RBI each.  Ryan Braun, J.J. Hardy, and Jason Kendall all had one RBI each as the Brewers pounded Cubs starter Jason Marquis and the Cubs bullpen in the game.

Ben Sheets made his return to the mound for the Brewers and picked up his fourth win of the season.  It wasn’t in typical Sheets fashion however as he was pretty wild and walked seven batters while only striking out two.  Eric Gagne did pick up the save in the ninth inning which was nice to see.

The Milwaukee Brewers gave up a run in the sixth inning and then two more in the eigth innings as they went onto lose to the Philadelphia Phillies 3-1.

Jeff Suppan had pitched seven innings and only allowed five hits and one run before giving way to David Riske who gave up two runs in only .2 of an inning.  Just a terrible performance by Riske, who will hopefully throw the ball better next time he is called on.

The lone RBI for the Brewers came off the bat of Ryan Braun who singled in the third inning to score Rickie Weeks.  The Brewers left 17 guys on base and only recorded nine hits in the game.

Eric Gagne blew another save but this time the Milwaukee Brewers were able to come back and win the game.  Gabe Kapler hit a game winning single that scored Gabe Gross in the 12th inning as the Brewers beat the Cardinals 9-8.

Seth McClung ended up picking up the win  for the Brewers.  Manny Parra had the start and pitched five innings.  Parra gave up nine hits and three earned runs.  Parra really needs to have better control of the ball and not give up so many hits.

Rickie Weeks led the Brewers with three RBI.  Ryan Braun had two RBI, while Prince Fielder, Corey Hart, Parra, and Kapler all had one RBI each.  Up and down the lineup, the players produced on Tuesday.

The Milwaukee Brewers lost at home by a score of 4-3 in the match up with the St. Louis Cardinals putting the Brewers at 11-8 for the year.  The Brewers went into the 9th inning tied 3-3 but to only give up a run to the Cardinals in the top half of the inning and end up losing.

Carlos Villanueva opened up the night for the Brewers throwing for seven innings and allowing three hits, two runs, and four walks.  Brian Shouse, Guillermo Mota, and Derrick Turnbow would be brought in to pitch the last three innings with Turnbow losing his first game of the season.

Rickie Weeks, Ryan Braun, and Corey Hart each picked up a RBI in Monday’s game.

The Brewers will take on the Cardinals one more time again tonight at home and then will move on to Philadelphia on Wednesday.

The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday after Eric Gagne blew his third save of the season and then took the loss as the Reds scored three runs in the 10th inning to win 4-3. The loss puts the Brewers at 11-7 for the year.

Gagne is now 1-1 after the loss against the Reds on Sunday.  Yovani Gallardo opened up the night for the Brewers pitching for seven innings and allowing only four hits and one run.

Jason Kendall and Yovani Gallardo each picked up doubles with J.J. Hardy hitting his first home run of the year giving him six RBI on the season.

The Milwaukee Brewers will take on the St. Louis Cardinals at home starting on Monday night.  Can they pull it together after this late inning loss to take on the Cardinals and battle for the number 2 spot in the National League Central?

Without Prince Fielder, the Milwaukee Brewers would have lost to the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday.  Good think Fielder was in the lineup and hit a home run in the 10th innin as the Brewers beat the Cardinals 5-3 in ten innings.

Fielder finished the game with three RBI.  Ryan Braun and Hernan Iribarren each had one RBI.

Brian Shouse picked up the win as he pitched in relief.  Eric Gagne made things interesting in the bottom of the tenth inning but was able to close the door the on the Cardinals and pick up his fourth save of the season.

Starting pitcher Manny Parra pitched four innings and gave up five hits and three earned runs.

Great comeback win for the Brewers as they improve their record to 9-6 on the season.

The Milwaukee Brewers couldn’t quite come back against the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday night as they lost 5-4.  The Brewers did score two runs int he top of the ninth inning but still lost by one run.  Sometime the Brewers will catch some breaks and win these one-run ballgames.

Carlos Villanueva took the loss for the Brewers after throwing 4.2 inning and allowing eight hits and five earned runs.  Other ten Villanuevea, the Brewers pitcher did a pretty good job.  Salomon Torres, Brian Shouse, and David Riske pitched 3.1 innings and did not allow a run and all did a good job.

Bill Hall, J.J. Hardy, and Craig Counsell all had one RBI for the Brewers.   I have to ask where was Prince Fielder though.  He is the player that should have stepped up and carried the Brewers to victory.

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Dave Bush is off to a 0-3 start after Tuesday’s night game against the St. Louis Cardinals.  The Cardinals defeated the Brewers 6-1 after the Brewers had a 2-0 lead.  The Cardinals scored insurance runs in the seventh and eigth innings that put the game out of reach for the Brewers.

Bush pitched six innings and gave up six hits and three earned runs.  He now has a 7.02 ERA on the season so far.  Bush better pick things up before he loses his spot in the rotation.

David Riske only got two batters out and gave up an earned run on two hits.  Brian Shouse pitched .2 innings as well but did not allow a run to cross the plate.  Derrick Turnbow gave up four hits and two earned runs in his .2 innings of action.  Turnbow has really struggled this year.

Corey Hart was the only Brewers play to record a RBI.  Other then that, the Brewers had zero offense against the Cardinals.

The Milwaukee Brewers couldn’t figure out Aaron Harang and the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday afternoon as they lost to the Reds by the score of 4-1.  The Brewers were only able to get five hits on the day as the big bats were very cold.

J.J. Hardy was the only batter for the Brewers that recorded an RBI.

Carlos Villanueva didn’t pitch too bad, but did make a mistake to Edwin Encarnacion in the 7th inning when Encarnacion took him deep for a two run homer.  Villanueva’s record is now 1-1 on the season.

The Milwaukee Brewers got a good old fashioned butt kicking by the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday night as the Reds beat the Brewers 12-4.  The Reds used 10 runs in the 6th through 9th innings to pull away for the blowout win.

Dave Bush picked up the loss for the Brewers, it was Bush’s second loss of the season already.  He only lasted 5.1 innings as he gave up six hits, five runs (four earned), three walks, and four strikeouts.  Derrick Turnbow and Seth McClung came in and both sucked it up in relief.  Turnbow gave up two earned runs and McClung with five earned runs.  You can’t win your bullpen gives up seven earned runs in a ballgame!

Ryan Braun and Bill Hall both hit solo home runs for the Brewers, and they also scored a couple of unearned runs but it clearly wasn’t enough to beat the Reds.
